“Anything But A Love Song” is the lead single from Pat Swenson’s debut album.

Utah country artist Pat Swenson is preparing for the release of his debut album, Helluva Cowboy. This morning at 7AM, the Spanish Fork native premiered the album’s lead single “Anything But A Love Song” on his website, patswensonmusic.com. The track was co-produced with Sonic Valley Records’ Dave Cebrowski and was recorded at Cebrowski’s studio, Stony View Sound. It features lead guitar work by guitarist Kaden Hunsaker of the progressive rock band Stasis. The track, featuring a country-rock sound, is set for a wide release on March 10, 2017.
Swenson has been compared to Garth Brooks in sound and style. His influences include artists like Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan, and Eric Church. Pat is becoming a respected songwriter, having showcased his songs to industry professionals in Nashville.
Swenson has wanted to be a country singer since age 12 when he first heard Don Williams sing “Good Old Boys Like Me.” He wrote his first song at age 15 and has been writing and performing ever since. “At the heart of it all, it’s really all about the songs for me,” he says. “I just want to write songs that strike an emotional chord in my listeners.
